About the job
Veeva Systems is a mission-driven organization and pioneer in industry cloud, helping life sciences companies bring therapies to patients faster. As one of the fastest-growing SaaS companies in history, we surpassed $3B in revenue in our last fiscal year with extensive growth potential ahead.
At the heart of Veeva are our values: Do the Right Thing, Customer Success, Employee Success, and Speed. We're not just any public company – we made history in 2021 by becoming a public benefit corporation (PBC), legally bound to balancing the interests of customers, employees, society, and investors.
As a Work Anywhere company, we support your flexibility to work from home or in the office, so you can thrive in your ideal environment.
Join us in transforming the life sciences industry, committed to making a positive impact on its customers, employees, and communities.
The Role
As a Vault CRM Architect, you’ll act as an advisor to key customer stakeholders in the Global Life Sciences industry, helping them deploy Veeva commercial applications in a way that’s aligned with best practices, meets the customer’s needs, and that scales for future growth and innovation.
You’ll act as a Technical lead on implementations of Vault CRM, Events Management, and connected solutions, while also driving migrations of Veeva customer environments from SFDC to Veeva Vault Platform.
What makes us different
High Trust, Ownership & Autonomy: Passion and effort directly lead to opportunities and real ownership from the start
Collaboration without competition: peers root for each other’s success, leadership is entirely accessible, and we tackle complex problems with a strict "no-ego" approach
Meaningful Industry Impact: know your work makes a difference, by helping life sciences companies operate more efficiently and effectively
The role is ideally based in the area of a Veeva office (Barcelona, London, Paris, Frankfurt, Berlin), but other EU locations will be considered.
Full right to work in the country of application is required.
What You'll Do
- Drive End-to-End Delivery: Own and collaborate on implementation and migration projects across SMB and Enterprise accounts, as a Functional Lead, Architect, Configurator, or Stream Lead
- Act as the Technical Authority: Confidently lead meetings with senior IT and Business stakeholders. Guide decisions based on best-practices, architectural principles and domain and technical expertise. Mentor internal teams and provide support to implementation partners
- Stay Hands-on : You prefer to know how things work under the hood. While you do not have to configure everything yourself every day, you love to configure, fix tricky issues, and help the team solve deep technical problems when they arise
- Create Solutions: You see ambiguity and unknowns as exciting puzzles, not blockers. Turning open-ended problems into clear action plans and driving them forward is what gives you energy
- Push the Boundaries: You never settle. You are curious about technology and love testing new AI tools. You enjoy finding smart solutions and making work easier for your team
Requirements
- 7+ years of hands-on experience in IT Consulting / Architecture for implementation projects
- Strong consulting background with proven ability to drive best practices, and manage senior stakeholder relationships
- Proven ability to learn new technology fast, and take ownership of complex technical outcomes
- Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment across multiple assignments
- Able to travel approximately 20%
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
Nice to Have
- Demonstrated expertise building, configuring, and architecting on Veeva Vault , Veeva CRM , or the Salesforce (Force.com) platform
- Proficiency in SQL, MDL, Python
- Experience with software from other vendors (IQVIA, SAP, CVENT, etc)
- Professional fluency in German, French, Spanish, or Italian
- Experience working with the Pharmaceutical, Consumer Health or an adjacent industry
