About the job

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, which manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Adobe Multi-Solution Architect, Adobe Commerce based in the United States.

As an Adobe Multi-Solution Architect, you will lead the design and delivery of enterprise-grade commerce solutions, with a primary focus on Adobe Commerce and its integration across the Adobe Experience Cloud ecosystem. You will shape scalable, secure, and innovative B2B and B2C commerce architectures for major clients across multiple industries. Working closely with engineering, strategy, sales, and client teams, you will translate complex business needs into effective technical solutions. You will oversee architecture decisions, integrations, platform modernization, and proof-of-concept initiatives. The role also offers opportunities to influence strategic business development, introduce AI-powered development practices, and contribute to technical thought leadership. You will mentor engineering teams while helping advance modern, composable, and cloud-native commerce capabilities.

Accountabilities

•

Lead end-to-end architecture, design, configuration, testing, and deployment of Adobe Commerce solutions, including Magento Open Source and Adobe Commerce Cloud, for enterprise B2B and B2C environments.

•

Design headless and composable commerce architectures using PWA Studio, Adobe Commerce Storefront, GraphQL, React, Next.js, and API-first integration patterns.

•

Establish architecture standards and lead technical reviews to ensure scalable, secure, high-performance, and enterprise-ready implementations.

•

Design and oversee integrations across the Adobe ecosystem, including Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), Adobe Experience Platform (AEP), Real-Time CDP, Adobe Target, and Workfront.

•

Architect complex B2B and B2C commerce capabilities, covering company accounts, negotiated pricing, quoting, catalog management, checkout, order management, and fulfillment.

•

Lead technical solution design for strategic opportunities and RFPs, collaborating with sales and client teams on requirements, project scope, effort estimation, and architecture recommendations.

•

Translate business objectives into technical roadmaps, including migration strategies from legacy and competing platforms such as Salesforce Commerce Cloud, SAP Commerce, Shopify Plus, and custom-built solutions.

•

Guide custom extension development, module architecture, and integrations with ERP, OMS, PIM, payment gateways, tax engines, and logistics providers.

•

Drive performance optimization and scalability initiatives, including caching strategies, catalog indexing, checkout improvements, and readiness for high-volume traffic.

•

Leverage AI-assisted development tools such as Claude, Cursor, and V0/Vercel to create intelligent workflows, agents, automation, and development accelerators that improve delivery efficiency and code quality.

•

Mentor engineers and application architects, sharing best practices in Adobe Commerce development, extension standards, and modern enterprise architecture.

•

Develop reusable accelerators, reference architectures, technical frameworks, and delivery playbooks to strengthen architectural standards and improve project delivery.

Requirements

•

10+ years of experience in enterprise technology, including at least 5 years designing and architecting large-scale Adobe Commerce/Magento solutions.

•

Deep, hands-on expertise in Adobe Commerce and Magento 2 architecture, customization, and implementation.

•

Strong experience with headless and composable commerce architectures, including PWA Studio, Adobe Commerce Storefront, GraphQL APIs, React, and Next.js.

•

Proven experience integrating Adobe Commerce with AEM, AEP/Real-Time CDP, Adobe Target, and/or Adobe Campaign in real client environments.

•

Extensive knowledge of enterprise integrations involving ERP platforms such as SAP, NetSuite, and Microsoft Dynamics, as well as OMS, PIM, payment gateways, tax solutions, and logistics providers.

•

Hands-on experience with PHP extension development, custom modules, Adobe Commerce Cloud infrastructure, deployment processes, and DevOps practices.

•

Demonstrated ability to lead architecture reviews, technical solutioning, RFP responses, and strategic client engagements, including discussions with executive stakeholders.

•

Experience managing complex commerce migrations and replatforming initiatives from legacy or competing platforms to Adobe Commerce.

•

Strong understanding of performance engineering for high-traffic commerce platforms, including Varnish, Redis, catalog indexing, caching, and checkout optimization.

•

Familiarity with enterprise content, web, and data management systems and their role within broader digital architecture ecosystems.

•

Practical experience using AI-assisted development tools such as Claude, Cursor, or equivalent solutions to accelerate architecture design, debugging, code reviews, documentation, and software delivery.

•

Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both technical teams and senior business leaders.

•

Strong collaboration and problem-solving abilities, particularly when working across engineering, creative, content, data, and strategy teams.

Nice-to-have qualifications

•

Adobe Commerce or Magento certifications, such as Certified Professional Developer, Certified Solution Specialist, or Certified Front-End Developer.

•

Multi-solution architecture experience across Adobe products such as AEM, AEP, and Workfront.

•

Familiarity with Adobe AI and agentic commerce technologies, including GenStudio and Firefly Services, and their integration into commerce and content supply chain workflows.

•
