About the job

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Motion Designer/Video Editor based in the United States.

The Senior Motion Designer/Video Editor will bring brand identity, product experiences, and marketing concepts to life through compelling video content and polished motion graphics. This role combines creative storytelling, visual design, and technical expertise to produce engaging assets across product demonstrations, explainers, social media, and advertising campaigns. The successful candidate will own video projects from initial briefs and creative concepts through editing, post-production, and final delivery. Working closely with marketing, design, and product teams, the designer will ensure visual consistency, communicate complex ideas clearly, and strengthen brand recognition. The position offers the opportunity to experiment with creative approaches that attract new audiences, engage prospects, and support business growth. This is an ideal opportunity for a self-directed creative professional who thrives in a collaborative, product-led environment and enjoys taking ownership of high-impact visual content.

Accountabilities

Animate existing designs into polished motion graphics for product interfaces, explainers, social media content, and advertising campaigns.

•

Develop original motion graphics and visual concepts from scratch, translating creative briefs into engaging visual narratives.

•

Manage the complete post-production process, including storytelling, pacing, sound design, music selection, color correction, captions, and graphic integration.

•

Own video projects from kickoff through final delivery, managing creative briefs, production workflows, revisions, deadlines, and deliverables.

•

Adapt video assets for different platforms, distribution channels, formats, and aspect ratios while maintaining quality and consistency.

•

Develop innovative video strategies and creative concepts that strengthen brand identity, expand audience reach, and support prospect conversion.

•

Collaborate with marketing, design, and product teams to ensure content accuracy, brand alignment, and consistency across all video materials.

•

Establish and maintain a cohesive visual language across video content, motion graphics, and other creative assets.

•

Manage multiple projects independently, balancing creative quality, stakeholder feedback, and delivery timelines.

Requirements

•

A strong portfolio or demo reel demonstrating expertise in both motion graphics and video editing.

•

Advanced proficiency in Adobe After Effects and Adobe Premiere Pro.

•

Proven ability to animate existing designs and create original motion graphics that communicate ideas effectively.

•

Strong editorial judgment and storytelling skills, with an understanding of pacing, narrative structure, and audience engagement.

•

Solid knowledge of typography, visual composition, color theory, and sound.

•

Demonstrated ability to manage video projects independently from initial concept and planning through final production and delivery.

•

Strong organizational skills, initiative, and the ability to manage multiple projects and competing deadlines with minimal supervision.

•

Excellent attention to detail and the ability to maintain creative quality while adapting content to different formats and audiences.

•

Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with marketing, design, and product stakeholders.

•

Preferred qualifications: Experience filming simple interviews or on-location shoots; experience creating content for B2B SaaS, media technology, or other technical audiences; familiarity with Figma, Cinema 4D, Lottie, or other 3D and motion design tools.
