About the job
We are looking for a Senior iOS Engineer to join our team and help design, build and evolve high quality mobile experiences used by millions of people every day.
The role combines strong hands-on expertise in native iOS development with the ability to shape technical direction, build reusable mobile foundations and mentor other engineers. You will collaborate closely with engineers, product managers, designers and platform teams throughout the product lifecycle.
- Design, build and evolve native iOS experiences on highly visible consumer surfaces
- Contribute to the architecture and development of reusable mobile foundations, frameworks and platform capabilities
- Lead technical initiatives that improve scalability, performance, reliability and developer experience
- Drive engineering quality through code reviews, testing practices, observability and operational excellence
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to shape product direction and technical strategy
- Mentor engineers and contribute to a collaborative and growth-oriented engineering culture
- Improve tooling, workflows, documentation and shared engineering standards
- Participate in experimentation and prototyping of new product experiences
- Balance short-term product needs with long-term platform sustainability
Requirements
- Senior level experience building native iOS applications with Swift
- Experience from large-scale consumer-facing applications with high performance and reliability expectations
- Strong understanding of scalable, maintainable mobile architecture and reusable components
- Strong focus on user experience, accessibility and performance
- Experience mentoring engineers and influencing technical decisions in cross-functional environments
- Ability to communicate technical ideas clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity and making thoughtful technical trade-offs
- Full professional proficiency in English
- Based in Sweden and available to start in November 2026
Nice to Have
- Experience with SwiftUI and modular app architecture
- Experience with AI-assisted development tools
- Experience with mobile CI/CD, testing frameworks and observability tooling
- Experience from media, streaming or other high-traffic consumer products
