Senior Administrator

We are seeking a proactive, reliable, and flexible Senior Administrator to join our Materials Testing Department  In this role, you’ll need the confidence to work independently, alongside the ability to collaborate effectively as part of a team. A background in Processing orders, along with knowledge of invoicing, is essential to thrive in this position.

The tasks you will undertake will include (but are not limited to)

• Monitor and manage the accounts inbox daily

• Triage incoming emails and prioritise urgent matters

• Raise purchase orders

• Create new jobs

• Raise invoices

• Ensure service level agreements for response times are met

To be successful, you should be able to demonstrate

• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities

• Strong interpersonal skills for building effective working relationships

• Exceptional inbox and workload management

• Previous experience in processing orders, generating invoices, and closing invoicing queries

About Infrastructure

SOCOTEC’s Infrastructure team delivers essential technical services that ensure the safety, quality and compliance of major construction and civil engineering projects across the UK. We provide independent construction materials testing to verify strength, durability and performance of key materials; foundations and pile testing to confirm ground stability; specialist structures and pavements assessment and analysis; and integrated geotechnical and structural monitoring that delivers real time data throughout project lifecycles.
