About the job
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Sales & Relationship Manager based in Brazil.
As a Sales & Relationship Manager, you will drive revenue growth and build lasting business relationships across the international coffee industry. You will manage the sales process for a diverse portfolio of event offerings, including sponsorship packages, exhibition booths, cupping sessions, workshops, and branded activations. Working with stakeholders across the coffee supply chain, you will identify new opportunities, nurture leads, negotiate partnerships, and strengthen existing client relationships. You will also contribute to the launch and expansion of strategic initiatives, including international coffee competitions and industry-focused projects. This fully remote role combines commercial ownership, relationship building, and cross-cultural collaboration in a dynamic, international environment. If you are passionate about sales, enjoy connecting people, and thrive on turning business opportunities into long-term partnerships, this is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the global coffee community.
Accountabilities
- Execute the established sales strategy independently, taking ownership of revenue targets and commercial performance across events and related projects.
- Sell a diverse range of products and services, including sponsorship packages, exhibition booths, branded activations, cupping sessions, bar service slots, workshops, and other event-related offerings.
- Identify, prospect, and develop new business opportunities to expand the client portfolio and secure sponsorships, commercial agreements, and long-term strategic partnerships.
- Manage the complete sales pipeline, from lead generation and relationship nurturing to negotiations, deal closure, and ongoing account management.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, sponsors, and prospective partners across the coffee supply chain, including roasters, producers, exporters, importers, and green coffee traders.
- Understand client needs and identify opportunities to develop tailored commercial proposals that deliver value to partners while supporting business objectives.
- Support the launch and growth of new strategic initiatives, including international coffee competitions and other projects designed to strengthen industry connections and engagement.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure successful project launches, effective communication, and smooth delivery of agreed commercial offerings.
- Participate in regular team meetings to share sales progress, discuss opportunities, and align commercial activities with broader business priorities.
- Provide regular updates to senior leadership on pipeline development, revenue performance, progress toward sales targets, and potential growth opportunities.
- Represent the organization professionally when engaging with international stakeholders, fostering trust and strengthening its position within the global coffee industry.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in a client-facing sales, business development, or account management role, with a proven ability to build relationships and generate revenue.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish, with strong written and verbal communication skills in both languages.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute sales strategies, manage a pipeline, negotiate commercial agreements, and consistently work toward revenue targets.
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients and stakeholders from diverse cultural and professional backgrounds.
- Strong commercial awareness and a proactive approach to identifying opportunities, developing partnerships, and expanding existing accounts.
- Ability to work independently, organize priorities effectively, and maintain accountability for commercial objectives in a remote working environment.
- Familiarity with Google Workspace (G Suite) and its tools for communication, documentation, collaboration, and reporting.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, particularly when managing multiple clients, sales opportunities, and project timelines.
- Experience with HubSpot or other customer relationship management (CRM) platforms is an advantage.
- Knowledge of the specialty coffee industry and its key stakeholders, including producers, roasters, exporters, importers, and green coffee traders, is highly desirable.
- Previous experience working with international teams or managing cross-border business relationships is a plus.
- A genuine interest in the coffee industry, industry events, and building meaningful connections across global markets.
Benefits
- Full-time, permanent employment opportunity.
- Fully remote work arrangement within Latin America, with occasional in-person meetups.
- Opportunity to build relationships with influential stakeholders across the international coffee supply chain.
- Exposure to a diverse range of commercial projects, industry events, sponsorships, and strategic initiatives.
- Opportunity to contribute to the development and growth of international coffee events and competitions.
- A dynamic, relationship-driven role offering autonomy and responsibility for sales performance.
- International collaboration with professionals and businesses across different markets and cultures.
