About the job

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Renewals Representative based in the United States .

As a Renewals Representative, you will play a key role in driving customer retention and recurring revenue within a fast-growing cybersecurity environment. You will manage an assigned portfolio of customer accounts, taking ownership of the entire renewal process from initial engagement through contract signature. Working closely with Sales, Customer Success, Finance, Legal, and channel partners, you will ensure timely renewals while identifying opportunities for account expansion. You will use customer insights, service performance data, and commercial expertise to demonstrate value, address potential churn risks, and negotiate favorable agreements. This role offers the opportunity to strengthen your sales and negotiation skills while contributing directly to business growth. It is ideal for a proactive, customer-focused professional who thrives in a collaborative, target-driven environment. The position is remote within the United States.

Accountabilities

•

Manage an assigned portfolio of customer renewals, achieving quarterly and annual booking, retention, and revenue targets.

•

Own the full renewal lifecycle, engaging customers 90–120 days before contract expiration to review service scope, pricing, timelines, and contractual requirements.

•

Maintain accurate renewal forecasts and pipeline records in Salesforce, ensuring strong data quality and providing regular updates during forecast meetings.

•

Monitor customer health indicators and potential churn risks, partnering with Customer Success teams to develop and implement appropriate retention strategies.

•

Leverage managed detection and response (MDR) service performance metrics, including alert volumes, false-positive rates, response times, and product adoption, to demonstrate customer value.

•

Prepare renewal quotations and negotiate commercial terms, including multi-year agreements, contract adjustments, co-termination, price increases, and payment conditions within approved discounting policies.

•

Coordinate with Deal Desk, Finance, and Legal teams to prepare and process renewal documentation, including order forms, Master Service Agreements (MSAs), and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

•

Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities throughout the renewal process and collaborate with Account Executives to maximize account growth.

•

Work with channel and distribution partners to secure renewals for partner-managed customers.

•

Apply established renewal strategies and objection-handling techniques, particularly when addressing pricing concerns, competing in-house security solutions, or questions about service value.

•

Escalate complex or high-value renewal opportunities to sales leadership when necessary.

•

Share customer feedback, market insights, and renewal trends to continuously improve commercial processes, tools, and playbooks.

Requirements

•

3–5+ years of professional experience in renewals, account management, customer success, or B2B SaaS sales.

•

Demonstrated success in achieving or exceeding renewal, customer retention, or revenue targets.

•

Strong commercial and negotiation skills, including experience with subscription pricing, quotation preparation, and contract management.

•

Proficiency in Salesforce and CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) platforms.

•

Working knowledge of cybersecurity threats, managed detection and response (MDR), 24/7 threat monitoring, and Mean Time to Respond (MTTR), or a strong willingness to develop expertise in these areas.

•

Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple renewal opportunities simultaneously while maintaining accuracy.

•

Strong relationship-building abilities and confidence communicating with customer stakeholders, including IT and information security leaders.

•

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex service value and negotiate effectively.

•

Ability to work independently, demonstrate initiative, and collaborate across multiple internal departments and external partners.

•

Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.

Nice to Have

•

Previous experience in cybersecurity, MDR, or managed security services.

•

Familiarity with Gainsight or other customer success management platforms.

•

Experience managing renewals involving consumption-based pricing models, such as endpoint volumes, data ingestion (GB/day), or per-user subscriptions.

•

Strong understanding of cybersecurity service delivery and the commercial challenges associated with managed security solutions.

Additional Eligibility Requirement

  • U.S. citizenship is required for this position due to contractual requirements associated with certain federal projects.

Benefits

•

Competitive compensation package.

•

Comprehensive employee benefits supporting health and overall wellbeing.

•

Opportunities to develop commercial, sales, and negotiation expertise.

•

Exposure to a dynamic, international cybersecurity environment.

•

Opportunities to collaborate with experienced professionals across Sales, Customer Success, Finance, Legal, and channel partnerships.

•

Career development and professional growth opportunities within a rapidly expanding cybersecurity organization.

•

Fully remote working arrangement within the United States.
