Overview

Seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, hands-on Project Manager to oversee third-party vendors executing C-Band ground clearing activities across multiple sites. This multi-year engagement requires proactive project planning, vendor management, project pacing, financial oversight, and comprehensive documentation to support on-time delivery, FCC compliance, and audit readiness. This is a remote role working EST hours. Minimal travel may be required. All qualified candidates MUST be authorized to work in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship or visa transfers. Please note that we do not work C2C.

Responsibilities

  • Manage third-party vendors performing C-Band ground clearing activities, including site assessments, engineering, equipment deployment, installation, testing, and acceptance.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project management documentation, including Project Charters, RACI matrices, detailed project plans, schedules, milestones, dependencies, RAID logs, and status reports.
  • Monitor site-by-site progress, analyze performance data, identify risks and delays, and proactively drive corrective actions to meet project and FCC clearing deadlines.
  • Coordinate site readiness, engineering approvals, supply chain activities, equipment availability, procurement, and vendor deployment schedules.
  • Track vendor costs, purchase orders, invoices, change orders, and financial commitments; reconcile expenses against approved scope and completed work.
  • Collect, validate, organize, package, and maintain infrastructure designs, equipment records, vendor activities, testing results, proof of completion, invoices, and supporting documentation to meet FCC compliance, reimbursement, and audit requirements.
  • Prepare and coordinate FCC regulatory reporting submissions and reimbursement packages, ensuring completeness, accuracy, traceability, and alignment with applicable program requirements.
  • Coordinate site acceptance, punch-list resolution, final deliverables, and documented closeout while supporting continuity of satellite services.
  • Develop accurate status reports, project dashboards, financial analyses, and executive presentations.
  • Coordinate across engineering, operations, finance, procurement, and external vendors to resolve issues and ensure timely execution.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of hands-on project management experience in telecommunications, satellite communications, cable, or network infrastructure.
  • Proven experience managing third-party vendors, multi-site deployments, schedules, budgets, and complex technical documentation.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, analytical capabilities, organizational discipline, and proactive follow-through.
  • Strong hands-on proficiency with Microsoft Project, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Salesforce including detailed scheduling, project planning, financial tracking, data analysis, and reporting.
  • Experience managing supply chain dependencies, vendor invoices, document repositories, and audit-ready records.
  • Familiarity with satellite ground infrastructure, C-Band clearing, RF systems, and FCC compliance requirements preferred.
  • Power BI dashboard and reporting experience a plus.
  • Successful completion of a background check and pre-employment drug screening, including marijuana, subject to applicable federal, state, and local laws.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, Business, or related field preferred.
  • PMP certification preferred.
