About the job
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Project-Based Graphic Designer based in Germany.
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Graphic Designer to support branding, marketing, and promotional campaigns through high-quality visual content. In this project-based remote role, you will create and refresh design assets for retreat promotions, social media channels, lead magnets, and other marketing initiatives. You will also develop reusable Canva templates that help streamline ongoing content creation and maintain a consistent visual identity. Working closely with the client and an existing virtual assistant, you will ensure that all materials are practical, polished, and aligned with established brand guidelines. The initial engagement includes 10 hours of work, with opportunities for additional projects and potential quarterly assignments. This is a flexible opportunity for an independent creative professional who enjoys delivering impactful designs within clearly defined project scopes.
Accountabilities
You will provide graphic design services across a range of marketing and branding initiatives, transforming existing materials and creating new visual assets that support ongoing campaigns. Your responsibilities will include:
•
Create promotional materials for retreats, including social media banners, flyers, posters, and event graphics.
•
Refresh website visuals, images, and VIP page assets to achieve a polished, professional, and premium appearance.
•
Design and update banners for YouTube, LinkedIn, and Facebook while maintaining consistent branding.
•
Refresh existing logos and branding materials using Canva.
•
Improve Instagram and Facebook graphic templates for ongoing social media use.
•
Redesign existing lead magnets, including covers, layouts, and other visual elements.
•
Review and improve an existing collection of approximately 20 Canva templates, with the potential to expand the library to around 30 reusable design assets.
•
Ensure all creative materials follow established brand guidelines, visual identity, and quality standards.
•
Organize and maintain design files and assets so they can be easily accessed, shared, and reused.
•
Collaborate with the client and the existing virtual assistant to ensure designs meet practical marketing requirements.
•
Incorporate feedback, manage revisions, and deliver agreed-upon materials within established project deadlines.
Requirements
The ideal candidate is a creative and organized graphic designer with strong Canva skills, a good understanding of branding, and the ability to work independently in a remote environment. The following qualifications are expected:
•
Strong proficiency in Canva, including the creation and editing of professional graphic assets and reusable templates.
•
Experience in graphic design, branding, and social media marketing materials.
•
Excellent visual design skills, particularly in layout, typography, color selection, and brand consistency.
•
Ability to refresh existing designs while preserving and strengthening an established brand identity.
•
Familiarity with design specifications and formats for Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and LinkedIn.
•
Experience organizing, managing, and sharing digital design files and creative assets.
•
Strong attention to detail, creativity, and organizational skills.
•
Ability to work independently, manage project deadlines, and deliver high-quality results.
•
Flexibility and responsiveness when receiving feedback and handling design revisions.
•
Strong written and verbal communication skills and a collaborative approach.
•
Good command of English, with a near-native level preferred.
