This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Measurement Technician based in India.
We are seeking a detail-oriented Measurement Technician to support accurate roof measurement and diagramming for residential roofing projects. Working remotely, you will use web-based tools and aerial imagery to analyze roof structures and produce reliable measurement diagrams. Your work will help clients assess roofing replacement scope and costs with confidence. This role combines technical learning, independent problem-solving, and quality-focused production in a collaborative environment. You will receive paid training and ongoing support while contributing to workflow improvements and operational excellence. The position offers opportunities to build specialized expertise and support a growing virtual technical team.
Accountabilities
•
Use proprietary web-based software to create accurate roof diagrams from aerial imagery.
•
Analyze building architecture and apply sound judgment when handling complex or non-standard roof designs.
•
Manage incoming assignments, prioritize tasks, and meet quality and turnaround expectations.
•
Communicate clearly in written and spoken English using remote collaboration tools.
•
Take ownership of accuracy, identify discrepancies, and independently resolve unusual cases when possible.
•
Provide constructive feedback to improve tools, workflows, and team performance.
•
Contribute to process improvements and documentation, including training materials and shared resources.
•
Support onboarding of new team members by sharing knowledge and best practices.
•
Develop subject matter expertise in roofing diagramming, software, and operational workflows.
•
Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, consistency, and overall team output.
Requirements
•
Strong comfort with technology and web-based applications, with the ability to learn new systems quickly.
•
Excellent attention to detail and a strong commitment to accuracy.
•
Ability to manage time, prioritize work, and operate independently in a high-volume environment.
•
Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
•
Ability to collaborate effectively within a remote team and work with U.S.-based business teams.
•
Strong visual interpretation, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
•
Preferred: Experience with Xactimate or roof sketching and measurement tools.
•
Preferred: Background in production, operations, or technical roles requiring both accuracy and throughput.
•
Ability to work fully aligned with U.S. Eastern business hours, from 7:30 PM to 3:30 AM IST .
•
A quiet, suitable workspace and reliable internet connection with at least 30 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload speeds.
