About the job

JOB SUMMARY

To serve the Lord by advancing Forest Home’s mission through marketing that broadens our reach and brings quality leads to Guest Retreats and Forest Home programs. The Marketing Coordinator plays a key role in helping more families, churches, and groups discover Forest Home and come experience life-changing time with Jesus.

This is a lead generation role. The primary purpose of the Marketing Coordinator is to generate quality leads for Guest Retreats and Forest Home programs and to reach new audiences who have not yet experienced Forest Home. Branding, content, communications, graphics, email, CRM, SEO, website, and analytics all serve that goal. This role manages the day-to-day work of Forest Home’s marketing, keeps outsourced agencies and vendors focused on lead results, and uses data to bring insight and recommendations to leadership on how to reach more people and turn interest into inquiries and registrations.

The Marketing Coordinator works closely with the sales team, who turn leads into bookings and registrations, and with the in-house photo/video team, balancing creative execution with organization, follow-through, and a ministry-minded approach to every guest and partner.

Working under the direction of the Senior Director of Sales & Marketing, this role is expected to:

  • Generate a steady flow of quality leads for Guest Retreats and Forest Home programs
  • Broaden Forest Home’s reach to new families, churches, and groups
  • Coordinate and execute marketing plans for each program and Guest Retreats with lead and registration goals in mind
  • Steward Forest Home’s brand so every piece of content, graphic, and message is consistent and on-mission
  • Track, analyze, and report lead volume, lead quality, and marketing performance across paid ads, website, SEO, and email
  • Manage day-to-day work with outsourced agencies and vendors, holding them to deadlines, budgets, and lead goals
  • Partner closely with sales so leads are handed off quickly and followed up well
  • Reflect Forest Home’s mission, values, and Christ-centered culture in every interaction and internal partnership

This is a full-time, non-exempt, hourly position (40 hours per week) at $25–$28 per hour. The role is remote, with a strong preference for candidates in the Pacific time zone. Occasional on-site presence at Forest Home in Forest Falls is required for photo/video shoots, events, and team meetings.

Photo & Video Collaboration

  • Creative Planning: Work with the in-house photo/video team to plan shoots and shot lists that meet program and campaign needs
  • On-Site Shoots: Attend shoots and events on-site as needed to direct content and support the team
  • Content Use: Turn photo and video into finished assets for web, social, email, and ads

Website & SEO

  • Website Management: Update and maintain the Forest Home WordPress website, including program pages, dates, pricing, and registration links
  • Accuracy: Keep program and Guest Retreats information current and correct across the site
  • SEO: Apply SEO best practices to site content, monitor search performance, and recommend improvements
  • User Experience: Identify broken links, outdated pages, and friction points that keep visitors from registering or inquiring, and recommend fixes

CRM & Marketing Automation

  • HubSpot Management: Maintain contact lists, properties, forms, and workflows in HubSpot so data stays clean and usable
  • Lead Follow-Up: Build and maintain automated follow-up for inquiries and registrations in partnership with the sales team
  • CRM Hygiene: Keep contact records, lists, and campaign tracking accurate and organized

Analytics & Reporting

  • Performance Tracking: Track marketing results using Google Analytics, HubSpot, and paid advertising platform reporting
  • Paid Ad Analysis: Read, interpret, and weigh performance data from Meta ads and Google search ads, including cost per lead, cost per registration, and return on ad spend
  • Reporting: Provide regular reports to leadership on campaign performance, website traffic, email results, and leads and registrations by program
  • Insight: Turn data into clear takeaways on what is working, what is not, and where to shift effort or budget
