We are entrepreneurial-minded organization that welcomes and support individual idea and strategies. We are currently expanding and looking to add a motivated individual to our team.

Responsibilities

  • Lead organizational licence and national-permit readiness and applications. Serve as the licensed corporate officer and designated licensed individual supporting the permit, subject to applicable requirements and approvals.
  • Establish responsible supervision and control through staff training, entry reviews, escalation procedures, recordkeeping and compliance monitoring.
  • Build importer onboarding and direct power-of-attorney processes; oversee classification, valuation, origin, agency requirements, customs release and entry summaries.
  • Implement customs filing software and ACE/ABI workflows with the technology team; connect document intake, release status, billing and reconciliation with Charger’s TMS.
  • Recruit, train and supervise the operating team with our in-house recruiters. Establish shipment coverage, quality controls and contingency arrangements.
  • Work with finance and commercial teams on pricing, budgets and performance. Maintain controls over duties, taxes and customer payments without financing importer duty advances.

Requirements

  • Recent customs brokerage leadership, including staff supervision and accountability for compliance, filing quality and service delivery.
  • Strong working knowledge of CBP requirements, ACE/ABI, entry and entry-summary processes, importer authorization and customs exception resolution.
  • Willingness and eligibility to assume genuine corporate officer and national-permit supervision responsibilities and perform the role from the United States.

Preferred experience

Canada–U.S. commercial truck clearances; eight or more years in brokerage, including three or more leading a team or function. Brokerage launches, licensing applications, filing-system implementation and branch performance ownership are advantages.
