Head of Market Surveillance & Integrity

Hacksaw Markets is a B2B prediction-market platform that operators can use to offer prediction markets under their own brands. As the  Head of Market Surveillance & Integrity y ou will design and lead the market-surveillance and integrity function. Your mandate is to detect, investigate and prevent abusive or manipulative behaviour while creating controls that are explainable, proportionate and ready to scale.

What you will own

• Build the end-to-end surveillance framework, including alerts, case management, investigations and reporting.

• Define detection scenarios for manipulation, collusion, wash activity, spoofing, self-trading and insider-information risk.

• Translate surveillance logic into reliable real-time and post-trade monitoring with data and engineering teams.

• Establish market-integrity standards for participants, market makers, employees and partners.

• Lead investigations, document findings and recommend restrictions, remediation or enforcement action.

• Refine scenarios and thresholds using market behaviour, case outcomes and model performance.

What you bring

• 8+ years in market surveillance, trade compliance, exchange investigations or market integrity.

• Strong understanding of electronic markets, order books, trading behaviour and manipulation typologies.

• Experience designing alert logic and working with large transactional datasets.

• Sound investigative judgment and the ability to distinguish unusual activity from abusive behaviour.

• Fluency with regulators, lawyers, engineers, quantitative teams and operations.
