The new Commercial Manager for Argentina will lead VEOLIA's strategic regional expansion across the Energy (Oil & Gas), Mining, and Fertilizer sectors, positioning our advanced water and wastewater treatment technologies at the center of the country's multi-billion dollar industrial boom. Driven by the market-liberalizing Incentive Regime for Large Investments (RIGI), Argentina's infrastructure multibillionaires pipeline may  transform the country into a global energy and minerals export powerhouse over the next four years. This role will identify, qualify and develop water and wastewater demands of these structuring projects while building robust middle-market commercial capabilities as the broader economy develops.

  • Drive National Market Expansion: Develop and execute a targeted national market expansion strategy aligned with the company’s regional growth priorities, with a focus on capturing opportunities generated by evolving investment incentives and infrastructure programs.
  • Monitor Competitive Dynamics: Maintain up-to-date intelligence on the regional water technology landscape. Benchmark market players and identify positioning opportunities across selected growth segments and territories.
  • Accelerate Opportunity Qualification and Bidding: Partner with local commercial, sales, marketing, and technical teams to qualify industrial opportunities. Coordinate closely with local and regional proposal, process engineering, and technical teams to develop competitive, technically accurate, and timely commercial proposals.
  • Develop Strategic Accounts and Industry Relationships: Build strong executive and technical relationships with key public-sector, private-sector, industrial, energy, mining, and infrastructure organizations. Prioritize strategic accounts, major project developers, industrial clusters, and relevant municipal or governmental stakeholders.
  • Establish Industry Thought Leadership: Position the company as a leading authority in complex industrial water and environmental management through engagement with engineering consultants, industry associations, specialized forums, and energy, mining, and industrial conferences. Collaborate with subject-matter experts and internal industry leaders to strengthen thought leadership initiatives.
  • Strengthen Digital Market Presence: Maintain an active and strategic presence across professional and digital platforms. Showcase relevant company capabilities, regional project experience, and market insights to increase visibility and brand recognition within the target industrial ecosystem.
  • Adapt Technology to Local Market Requirements: Support local engineering teams in adapting the company’s global technologies and solutions to specific regulatory, supply-chain, operational, and geographical requirements.
  • Build Regional Technical Awareness: Act as a technical and commercial ambassador for the company in training and knowledge-sharing initiatives. Support the development of local engineering partners, subcontractors, consultants, and other ecosystem stakeholders by increasing awareness of the company’s technology portfolio, capabilities, and relevant project experience.
  • Expand the Go-to-Market Ecosystem: Grow the regional sales funnel by developing strategic partnerships with engineering, procurement, and construction firms, system integrators, consultants, technology partners, and other relevant market stakeholders.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
  • Advanced proficiency in English
  • Proven experience in sales or business development
  • Experience managing or selling projects for the mining, power generation, or oil and gas industries
  • Experience selling EPC or EP projects and solutions
  • Experience in the water and wastewater treatment industry is preferred
  • Knowledge of water treatment technologies, including gravity separators, industrial water treatment systems, membrane applications, electrodialysis, and biological treatment processes, is preferred.

As an inclusive company, Veolia is committed to diversity and gives equal consideration to all applications, without discrimination.

As Veolia’s global water technology specialists, we deliver performance and sustainability with excellence. Together, we protect, preserve, and regenerate resources, addressing today’s environmental challenges while creating tomorrow’s water treatment and process solutions.
