This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, which manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Cybersecurity Regional Manager based in the United States.
As a Cybersecurity Regional Manager, you will lead regional client relationships and drive the growth of cybersecurity services across California and the West Coast. You will combine strategic account management, technical expertise, and business development to help organizations protect critical infrastructure and strengthen their cybersecurity posture. Working with clients across sectors such as transportation, aviation, utilities, rail, and public safety, you will lead risk assessments and evaluate infrastructure designs against relevant security standards. You will also advise customers on regulatory compliance, security policies, and risk mitigation strategies tailored to their operational environments. In close collaboration with internal teams and external stakeholders, you will identify emerging needs, develop tailored solutions, and contribute to strategic proposals. This remote opportunity offers the chance to influence high-impact infrastructure projects while building lasting client partnerships and expanding cybersecurity capabilities across a diverse portfolio.

Apply appropriate frameworks and standards, including NIST guidelines, to evaluate risks and recommend practical mitigation strategies.
- Critical Infrastructure Security Reviews: Assess the cybersecurity compliance of critical infrastructure designs, including greenfield and brownfield projects. Evaluate designs against applicable national and international standards, such as ISO, APTA, and NERC, with a focus on infrastructure resilience and operational security.
- Security Posture Improvement: Review customer cybersecurity controls, policies, standards, plans, and procedures to identify vulnerabilities and compliance gaps. Develop or improve security documentation and provide expert recommendations that strengthen network security and support regulatory obligations.
- Technical Consulting and Subject Matter Expertise: Serve as a cybersecurity subject matter expert for internal teams and external customers, providing technical guidance on security architecture, risk management, regulatory compliance, and critical infrastructure protection.
- Business Development and Proposal Support: Support commercial growth by identifying customer needs, contributing to cybersecurity service proposals, and preparing technical responses to requests for proposals. Help develop solutions that align with client requirements and demonstrate the value of cybersecurity offerings.
- Stakeholder Collaboration and Project Delivery: Work closely with business leaders, project managers, technical directors, customers, and subcontractors to clarify requirements, coordinate project activities, address challenges, and ensure the delivery of high-quality solutions.
- Industry Engagement and Market Intelligence: Attend national and international conferences, industry meetings, and customer events to present cybersecurity capabilities, maintain technical expertise, gather market intelligence, and identify emerging industry challenges and business opportunities.
- Technical Communication and Reporting: Prepare and deliver technical briefings, project documentation, assessment findings, and recommendations. Communicate complex cybersecurity concepts clearly to technical and nontechnical audiences.
- Travel and Client Support: Travel as required by customer contracts and project needs to conduct assessments, attend meetings, support engagements, and participate in industry conferences across relevant locations.
