This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior SAP PP Consultant based in Brazil.

We are seeking an experienced Senior SAP PP Consultant to support an SAP S/4HANA implementation project focused on production planning and execution. In this role, you will design and configure solutions that support complex manufacturing and process industry operations. You will work closely with business stakeholders to understand operational requirements, lead process workshops, and translate business needs into effective SAP solutions. Your responsibilities will span the full project lifecycle, from initial process assessment and configuration to testing, deployment, and post-go-live support. You will also contribute to data migration, functional documentation, and end-user training. This is a remote consulting opportunity, with occasional client visits to Rio de Janeiro and travel expenses covered.

Accountabilities

You will lead functional activities related to SAP Production Planning, ensuring that the implemented solution aligns with operational requirements and integrates effectively with other business modules. Your responsibilities will include:

Lead workshops to gather business requirements and conduct fit-to-standard assessments for production planning and manufacturing processes.

•

Design and configure SAP PP solutions within the SAP S/4HANA environment.

•

Support the migration of production-related master data.

•

Develop functional specifications for system enhancements, custom developments, and integrations.

•

Execute unit and integration testing to validate solution functionality and cross-module processes.

•

Support user acceptance testing and coordinate solution validation with key users.

•

Assist with cutover planning, go-live activities, and post-implementation support.

•

Prepare functional documentation and provide training to key users.

•

Ensure effective integration between SAP PP and related modules, including MM, QM, PM, SD, and CO.

Requirements

The ideal candidate has strong hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA implementations and in-depth knowledge of production planning processes, particularly in process industries. You should be comfortable working across the full implementation lifecycle and collaborating with both technical teams and business stakeholders. The following qualifications are expected:

Proven experience in SAP S/4HANA implementation projects, specifically within the SAP PP module.

•

Strong knowledge of SAP PP master data, including materials, bills of materials, routings, work centers, and production versions.

•

Practical experience with MRP and MRP Live, production and process orders, confirmations, and production reporting.

•

Knowledge of SAP PP-PI for process industries, particularly refining, petrochemicals, or lubricants.

•

Experience integrating SAP PP with MM, QM, PM, SD, and CO, including product costing and cost allocation.

•

Experience across all major implementation phases, including blueprint or fit-to-standard, configuration, testing, cutover, and go-live.

•

Oil and gas industry experience is an advantage.

•

Knowledge of SAP IS-Oil, bulk product management, and unit-of-measure conversions based on temperature and density is desirable.

•

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to facilitate workshops and translate business requirements into functional solutions.
