Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare detailed and accurate estimates for larger ground-up construction projects.

  • Handle questions and objections professionally and confidently.
  • Present estimates in a clear, organized, and easy-to-understand manner.
  • Follow up with subcontractors and vendors to ensure accurate and competitive pricing.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure estimates are complete and submitted accurately and on time.
  • Take full ownership of the estimating process and proactively manage deadlines without requiring constant oversight.
  • Continuously identify opportunities to improve estimating accuracy, efficiency, and profitability.

Requirements

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong sales or business development skills.
  • Ability to build relationships and establish trust with clients.
  • Experience presenting estimates and helping clients understand pricing and scope.
  • Familiarity with common construction estimating, project management, and CRM tools.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is more than someone who can simply produce an estimate. We are looking for someone who will own the entire estimating process and become a reliable point of contact for both the company and its clients.

They should be technically strong but also highly communicative and commercially minded. They need to be comfortable picking up the phone, having conversations with American subcontractors, asking the right questions, negotiating pricing when appropriate, and speaking directly with clients.

A sales-oriented personality is a strong plus. The ideal candidate can build rapport, communicate value, confidently discuss pricing, handle questions or objections, and help move projects forward. Most importantly, this person should be proactive, accountable, and capable of managing the estimating function with minimal supervision.

Benefits

  • Client Relationship: You will be directly working with the client. This means that you will communicate with the client, provide services, and address any client-related matters independently.
  • Payments: All payments for your services will be handled by the client. Elevate and Delegate is not involved in processing your payroll. Your salary will directly go to you.
  • Vacation Leaves and Holidays: While we may have recommendations or guidelines regarding vacation leaves and holidays, the decision is entirely at the discretion of the client. You are expected to align your schedule with the client’s business needs and any specific policies or preferences they may have in this regard.
