This role suits someone early in their career who is analytical, curious and careful with detail, and who wants to see their work improve how the business operates.

Key Responsibilities

  • Track company performance across functions, markets and business lines, and highlight gaps, trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Maintain KPI trackers and dashboards, and check that figures are accurate, consistent and up to date.
  • Prepare data and analysis for the Weekly Business Review (WBR) and Monthly Business Review (MBR).
  • Analyse costs, spending and resource use to identify savings opportunities, and measure the impact of improvements once they are made.
  • Map current processes and use data to identify delays, duplication and manual work.
  • Collect and analyse data for retrospectives on major events, projects and initiatives, and track that agreed actions are completed.
  • Build simple financial and operational models to support business cases for new initiatives and opportunities.
  • Support cross-functional improvement initiatives by tracking progress against agreed objectives and reporting on status.
  • Work with the Data team to define reporting requirements, and with Finance to use budget and actual figures in performance analysis.

Requirements

  • 1 to 2 years of experience in data analysis, business analysis or a similar role.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science or a related field.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets (pivot tables, lookups and formulas) and working knowledge of SQL.
  • Experience with dashboarding tools (for example, Looker Studio, Power BI or Tableau).
  • Ability to explain findings clearly in simple written and visual form.
  • Excellent command of English (written and spoken).
  • Strong sense of ownership, structure and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of Python, or experience in ticketing, events, e-commerce or technology, is a plus.
