Associate Business Intelligence Analyst

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Associate Business Intelligence Analyst based in India.

We are seeking an enthusiastic, early-career technology professional to join a dynamic digital technology team focused on AI and Generative AI innovation.

In this role, you will contribute to the development of intelligent enterprise applications, AI assistants, chatbots, and knowledge-based solutions.

You will work with Python, Large Language Models (LLMs), APIs, and emerging AI technologies to solve real-world business challenges.

Collaborating with experienced engineers, architects, and business stakeholders, you will gain hands-on exposure to enterprise AI development.

The position offers opportunities to explore prompt engineering, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), vector databases, and AI integration.

You will also contribute to web applications and enterprise platforms while developing your software engineering expertise.

Accountabilities

•

Support the development and implementation of AI, Machine Learning, and Generative AI solutions for business applications.

•

Collaborate with senior engineers to build LLM-powered applications, chatbots, AI assistants, and knowledge management solutions.

•

Develop Python scripts, applications, APIs, and reusable AI components.

•

Explore and implement prompt engineering, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), embeddings, vector databases, and LLM integrations.

•

Assist with structured and unstructured data preparation, processing, and analysis.

•

Integrate AI capabilities into enterprise applications using REST APIs and other technologies.

•

Support application testing, debugging, performance optimization, and deployment activities.

•

Collaborate with UX/UI designers and software development teams to create intuitive AI-powered user experiences.

•

Contribute to AI-enabled features within enterprise portals and platforms, including Liferay.

•

Support responsive web development using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Bootstrap.

•

Participate in Agile ceremonies, code reviews, technical discussions, and documentation.

•

Adhere to enterprise standards for software development, data privacy, information security, and responsible AI.

Requirements

•

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, or a related discipline.

•

At least 1 year of experience in software development, AI/ML, data science, or a related technical field.

•

Good working knowledge of Python and fundamental software development concepts.

•

Basic understanding of AI/ML, Natural Language Processing (NLP), Generative AI, and Large Language Models.

•

Familiarity with prompt engineering, RAG, embeddings, and vector search concepts.

•

Understanding of REST APIs, JSON, HTTP, and application integration.

•

Basic knowledge of SQL and relational databases.

•

Understanding of object-oriented programming and software engineering fundamentals.

•

Familiarity with Git or other version control tools.

•

Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and debugging abilities.

•

Effective communication, teamwork, and collaboration skills.

•

Preferred qualifications: Exposure to LangChain, LlamaIndex, or similar AI frameworks; experience with LLM-powered applications, chatbots, or AI assistants; understanding of model evaluation, hallucinations, semantic search, and responsible AI; familiarity with vector databases; knowledge of Liferay Portal/DXP and concepts such as portlets, widgets, sites, pages, content management, roles, and permissions; experience integrating enterprise applications through REST APIs; knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Bootstrap; and exposure to Agile development practices.
