What You’ll Do
- Shipment Processing: Initiate shipment requests and create shipment records in CargoWise.
- Air Waybill Documentation: Prepare and send draft Air Waybills (AWBs) for review and processing.
- Shipment Documentation: Prepare and send required shipment documents, including on-hand reports and shipment photos.
- Shipment Tracking: Monitor shipment movements and update shipment statuses throughout the shipping process.
- Arrival and Customs Coordination: Prepare arrival notices and coordinate customs release for shipments with no identified issues.
- Delivery Follow-Up: Track shipments through final delivery and follow up on outstanding movement or delivery updates.
- Billing: Process shipment billing after completion and ensure relevant shipment records are properly documented.
What You Need
- Experience in air freight operations, international logistics, or freight forwarding.
- Familiarity with CargoWise or similar freight management systems.
- Understanding of air freight documentation, including Air Waybills (AWBs), and shipment processing.
- Knowledge of import and export shipment workflows, including customs clearance and final delivery coordination.
- Strong attention to detail when handling shipment records, documentation, tracking updates, and billing.
- Good communication and coordination skills when following up on shipment status and delivery requirements.
- Ability to manage multiple shipments and ensure tasks are completed accurately and on time.
- Amenable to working night shifts
