  • Address customer questions, concerns, and challenges promptly, coordinating with relevant internal teams to deliver effective resolutions.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales activities, leads, opportunities, and account updates within the CRM system.
  • Build and manage a qualified sales pipeline, using sales dashboards and performance data to prioritize activities and achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets.
  • Analyze customer information, account performance, and market trends to identify growth opportunities and inform account strategies.
  • Prepare and deliver regular reports on account health, renewal performance, expansion opportunities, pipeline progress, and customer satisfaction to management.
  • Continuously improve account management practices by identifying opportunities to streamline processes, strengthen customer relationships, and enhance commercial performance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Technology, or a related field preferred.
  • At least three years of experience in software sales or account management, preferably serving small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) and mid-market customers.
  • Strong understanding of software technology, industry dynamics, and the business needs of customers in a competitive market.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain trusted relationships with customers, internal stakeholders, and decision-makers.
  • Demonstrated success identifying account expansion opportunities and executing effective upselling and cross-selling strategies.
  • Solid knowledge of sales processes, account planning, pipeline management, contract renewals, and customer retention techniques.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present recommendations clearly, persuasively, and professionally.
  • Strong negotiation and influencing skills, with the ability to understand customer requirements and position solutions that deliver business value.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret customer data, sales dashboards, market trends, and account performance metrics to guide decision-making.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and CRM platforms such as Salesforce or HubSpot, with familiarity with customer success tools.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, including the ability to manage multiple accounts, competing priorities, and deadlines effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities and a proactive approach to resolving customer issues and improving the client experience.
  • Customer-centric mindset, with a genuine commitment to customer satisfaction, retention, and long-term success.
  • Adaptability and a willingness to learn quickly, embrace new technologies, and improve customer-facing and internal business processes.
  • Results-oriented approach, with the motivation and resilience to meet and exceed sales and account growth targets.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across teams while taking ownership of individual account performance and commercial outcomes.
